How Can Live Performance Flourish? The Notes
On Friday 7th October as part of the Made in Somerset Festival 2011, an Open Space event was held at the Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre to discuss how live performance can flourish.
Attended by 44 people and facilitated by Seth Honnor, there were some lively provocations followed by two and half hours of fruitful discussion - the notes are now available in a draft document - open the publication below. The emerging themes and findings will be drawn together by Mark & Sarah from Take Art and put into a final document by the end of November. Absolutely LOVE this year’s program. High sortnact, readable pages. Easy to find the show you want (amazing how important dropping The , etc). And the concept absolutely rocks. The pictures, the Yearbook theme, the memories everything is supportive toward helping especially new audiences understand the complexity that is Fringe. I am eager to share my program with folks that don’t understand what Fringe is all about. MUCH appreciated!
