Venue Magazine saved
Ten days after hearing that Venue magazine was to be closed the decision has been overturned.
After Facebook and Twitter campaigns, hundreds of supporters who have spoken up, advertisers who pledged support, media support, and the masses of people willing to commit to a new Venue subscription, a future has been secured for the magazine.
The compromise is Venue will become a much larger monthly title and it will be free. The website will remain and will expand to include local event listings.
