Artist bursary to attend IETM Bucharest with Theatre Bristol

Would you like to come to IETM in Bucharest with us?

Theatre Bristol is a member of the international performing arts network IETM. We go to IETM Plenary Meetings twice a year to big up Bristol-based practitioners, learn new things from excellent seminars and speakers and make more friends.

We’ve made a commitment to offer a place at every IETM to a Bristol-based artist.

The idea is for you to develop international contacts and share the good stuff across Bristol. David Lane came with us to Amsterdam and wrote a brilliant series of blogs while he was there. Roseanna Anderson came to Valencia and is writing her reflections on it now. Together we covered more ground, met more people and generated more learning.

Now we’re extending the invitation to come to IETM Bucharest in April. The theme of this plenary is the status of the artist, so if you’re an artist, you’re already an expert.

So if you’re intrigued, can give up the time and get yourself to Bucharest 20-23 April 2017 - can we pay for your delegate fee, your accommodation and a daily per diem?

This is open to individual artists/producers and members of small companies only, because if you have regular funding membership is easier to cover. You’ll just need to pay for your travel, but flights are pretty cheap right now. If we can’t support you, do look into membership and/or going as a non member also – it’s really good value.

If you are interested, please download the brief application form below, fill it in and send it to sophie@theatrebristol.net with the subject line IETM by 9am on Friday 17th February

Bring it on!

We need your help. We want to maintain this site for the 20,000 people who use it each month, but the technology it is built on needs serious updating. If you use the site please support us with a £3 donation, or whatever you feel able to give, so we can develop it and keep it a free and valuable resource for people who make and love theatre.

You can also give to us without costing you a penny by signing up to Easy Fundraising, so when you shop online from over 2500 retailers Theatre Bristol will receive a donation.
