Adam is a widely experienced theatre practitioner and has been touring as a performer and puppeteer for the past nine years. His credits include lead roles in a variety of shows for both children and adults, working with companies such as Idiot Child (You're Not Doing It Right, which gained a 4 Star Guardian review), Pickled Image, Stuff & Nonsense, Full Beam, Soap Soup and Ramshacklicious. Adam reached the Final of the 2012 BBC Norman Beaton Fellowship for Radio Drama performance and has since read for programmes broadcast on Radio 4. He has also worked as a puppeteer for Aardman Animations on a short film and for My Pockets as a puppeteer in a BBC 3 pilot.
Adam also has a strong background in Education having been a teacher at College, Secondary and Primary levels. This makes Adam comfortable when working as a facilitator with all ages of pupils and when running a wide range of theatrical workshops for students at University, Secondary or Primary level, including; Puppetry, Puppet Making, Writing for Theatre, Devising for Theatre and numerous performance techniques. Adam has run lengthy Drama projects in numerous Primary Schools engaging children in Shakespeare performance, the re-telling of Greek myths and the devising of their own material to be put in front of audiences.
Currently Adam continues to work with Pickled Image as a puppeteer and writer on their Travels With Granddad and Fireside Tales With Granddad projects. Adam performs the puppet role of Granddad in an interactive show touring theatres and festivals. The project also works with numerous Bristol Primary Schools, engaging classes in workshops that are aimed at enhancing the confidence and imagination of young children when creating stories of their own. Granddad has also been involved in an extended project at Southmead Hospital, where he engaged with patients on the dementia ward over a period of 3 months, in a project aimed at enhancing the experience of patients within the ward.
Adam has worked for Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company as a devisor and scriptwriter on three hugely successful shows The Little Red Hen, The Three Little Pigs and The Hare & The Tortoise. Adam has extensively toured nationally as a performer and puppeteer to wide acclaim from both children and adults alike.

Adam also worked as a devisor/director and writer on Soap Soup’s version of Little Red Riding Hood, which featured at the 2011 Bristol Festival of Puppetry before embarking on a national tour.
Previously Adam worked as a devisor and scriptwriter on Full Beam Visual Theatre’s shows, The Man Who Discovered That Women Lay Eggs and My Baby Just Cares For Me, which has recently been re-worked and is touring again in 2013.
Adam has recently gained healthy experience as a writer and dramaturge on projects with Ramshacklicious and Hinged Theatre. He is also involved in Ramshacklicious' ambitious Punch project and worked with Likely Story Theatre Company as a performer and puppeteer on their Locked Door show in the Autumn of 2012.
