Cirque Bijou in Bristol
We are proud to be Key Arts Providers to Bristol City Council and take an active part in Bristol's Cultural Life. As well as creating shows for Bristol's Olympic Torch Relay, for the launch of the MShed and Colston Hall, Cabot Circus's Christmas Lights Switch On and Tobacco Factory's NYE Ball, we also support emerging local artists through our Step Up programme.
We create, programme and produce the circus and street theatre stage at Bristol Harbour Festival every year and in 2014 produce the Childrens Area for the first time.
We are always looking for new partnerships so please contact us if you would like to link up.
Step up supports young artists as they develop and create their own street theatre performances. We worked closely with all the groups involved, offering mentoring and advice on production and development of their work, as well as providing opportunities for the young groups to perform the finished pieces at public events to mainstream audiences.
