Cafe Bar Unlimited

This cafe bar is a relaxed place that can be hired out to people wanting to put on events. It has an intimate atmosphere and the space is small with a low ceiling. It has been used for "3 minute warning" a live art event and is also used for live music as well as poetry nights. The cafe is very open to different uses of the space. This space has been used for: cabaret, live art events, live music.

Canon's Marsh Amphitheatre

This is an outdoor amphitheatre. It is also know as the Lloyds Amphitheatre. There is a waterfront square that could be used as a separate area but is often used in addition to the amphitheatre space. Space must be left for boats to moor and their passengers to disembark. Bristol City Council want people to use the parks and enable event organisers to make the events happen (whilst taking into account the care of these spaces). Each application for use is accessed on its own merit to determine cost and viability (how the community would benefit, the potential damage to the space etc). Centre Space

This is an independently run arts space in the centre of Bristol. It is a not for profit organisation and is run by a co-operative of artists. Essentially this space is for art of all kinds and Centre Space is open minded and will look at each application to use the space in its own right. The first priority is exhibitions which are usually scheduled back to back but if this is not the case the space can and has been used for rehearsal. This space has been used for art exhibitions and live art (by Arnolfini).

Circomedia: Portland Square: Café

St Paul's church was converted by Circomedia (centre for circus with physical theatre) into a thriving venue for community arts and a national centre of excellence for circus in 2005. It is hoped that the cafe will be an arts cafe with space for activities such as performance poetry. This cafe space can be used for performance.

Circomedia: Portland Square: Chapel

St Paul's church was converted by Circomedia (centre for circus with physical theatre) into a thriving venue for community arts and a national centre of excellence for circus in 2005. This space will be used for small scale rehearsal, meetings and teaching.

Circomedia: Portland Square: Knave

City Academy (St George)

This is a newly built school with lots of facilities that can be hired out. Gary Haskins (Facilities Manager will be sending more details for the site)

Clifton High School

College Green: Paved Area

There is a large paved path in front of the Council House and moat. College Green is surrounded by the Council House, Cathedral, Central Library. The site is divided into 3 event spaces: a large central grass area; a circular paved space, The Bowl and a network of paved paths. Anything in this space needs to be sympathetic to the cathedral and council buildings. Marquees are allowed but cannot be staked.
