Sedated By A Brick (SBAB)

Spawned in the midst of 2008, Sedated By A Brick (SBAB) is an emerging trans-disciplinary performance company. Seeing common causes and routes into performance and live-art, we have decided to see what kind of experience we can create when we put our minds and bodies together.

Now in 2009, producing high quality quirk, developed through conversation, experimentation, automatic writing and watching (you), SBAB are traversing memory and circumstance, life and death, dark and light, tea and coffee.

SBAB currently rehearse for no-one and nothing. IF they did they might be working on a two-part house piece; peering into the cracks, glossing over the past, finding and losing tired identities. We are currently looking for rooms, flats, houses and secret meeting places.

Past work includes Community Ties (Bath-Bristol Cycle Path, 2009), Moonshine Hallucinations (Hamilton House, 2009), (Un)Familiar Objects – (Ustinov Theatre/Various People’s Houses, 2009), Don’t You Know Who I Am? (City of Bristol Festival, 2008) and Cosy Catastrophe (Offset Festival, 2008).
