Brief Description of Project:
Today modern Cuban dances such as ‘Salsa’ and ‘Conga’ are danced and enjoyed worldwide, and for most people this is where their knowledge of the island of Cuba both begins and ends. If we were, however, to look deeper into the history, and further on from the tourist culture of Cuba we would discover something very special indeed.

Every Thursday night in South Bristol at the South Bristol Sports Centre we run 6 classes from complete beginners Salsa through to the most advanced. We also run: Bachata, Ladies Styling, Rueda, Cha Cha Cha, Cuban Salsa and other Latin dance courses at the same venue. New courses start every 8 weeks.
