Floor to Ceiling

Floor To Ceiling is a new creative partnership based in the South West between Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Graduates Monty Till and Hannah Drake, and run through Monty Till Productions. Together they aim to produce Theatre by, with, and for the communities in and around Bristol, providing opportunities on both sides of the curtain.

Engaging with new writing and old, traditional theatre spaces and more unusual locations, established actors and recent graduates, FTC’s work is united by its interest in the human condition; however simple, sentimental or absurd.

Current projects:

86,400 Seconds (Jo McAnish) at The Brewery, 16-27 November, 2010

86,400 Seconds (AKA The Pier Project) by Jo McAnish

Today we have naming of parts. This is a fishing rod. Ned is not doing well. He has sat on the pier for three days; he has all the right equipment. But can he catch a fish? No. But he won’t give up that easily. After all, he did promise… Inspired by the plaques of Clevedon Pier, Eighty-Six Thousand, Four Hundred Seconds is the story of one man’s extraordinary vigil; a new play created by Bristol based Floor to Ceiling.
