Casual Events Assistant 

£10.35 per hour 

Bath Spa Live is looking for a Casual Events Assistant to join our busy team.  The work will involve supporting the Events Manager and the Marketing Manager as we plan, schedule and produce a series of music, dance and drama events at our three venues: University Theatre, Michael Tippett Centre and Burdall’s Yard.t

The ideal candidate will have experience in an arts centre or similar and will have a good understanding of how to create and manage successful events.

You will also work as a Duty Manager, so knowledge of licensing and Health and Safety, and the ability to supervise and motivate a Front of House team will be essential.

As well as our University venues we also perform at a variety of spaces in Bath and the surrounding areas.

You must be able to work evenings and occasional weekends and at times outside the academic year.   You will also need to be well organised and confident at managing a bar, handling money, dealing with the public and all aspects of office administration.

The workload is variable and may fit round other work or educational commitments.t
