Hello! Are you a local theatre technician looking for work? Are you interested in joining a graduate theatre company that is at, the most exciting part of their journey?
We at AWOL Productions are a Bristol based farcical theatre company, with ambitions and drive to take us to high places.
We have an exciting year ahead of us, with a run in both a great London venue and at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of the Paradise Green Programme. Also with plans for a UK tour next year.
We are looking for a trained technician that has a passion for their craft and a great sense of humour. You would be joining the madness that is AWOL Productions...
Here is what our current touring show is about:
A two-handed, multi-rolling farcical extravaganza written and produced by Bristol-based AWOL Productions. Set in 1966, Valerie Silverston, Chief Editor at a London newspaper firm, finds herself on a wild and wonderful adventure with simple Nancy Upshaw. When they 'accidentally on purpose' murder their boss Douglas McDonnelly, cut him up and put him in their carpet bags, they set sail on a trip around Europe. Travelling by boat, motorcycle, tandem and even a wild bull, they find themselves popping up in the most peculiar places and getting into all sorts of mischief. Will they make it home undiscovered?
