Bristol Music Trust, Bristol Plays Music – Education Programme Assistant (Schools)
Fixed-term for 6 months from March 2017 £15,916 per annum, Full-time 37 hours
Bristol Music Trust manages and looks after the activities of Colston Hall, which includes Bristol Plays Music (BPM) our Education hub based in Southmead. BPM are looking for an Education Programme Assistant to provide interim administration and finance support whilst working for a dynamic and inspiring arts organisation.
Working with our Finance and Business Manager and providing schools based administration support across the BPM team, the Education Programme Assistant is the first point of contact within the team and the role would suit someone with strong administrative or reception skills and finance acumen with experience of using finance programmes.
The Education Programme Assistant will provide support in managing bookings and enquiries for BPM’s music centre instrumental and ensemble lessons and Colston Hall learning programmes, and they will provide support in ensuring that commercial event bookings are organised and adequately resourced. They will also take a lead role in administration support for the BPM Register of Music Practitioners.
You will be an excellent communicator and flexible team player, with strong interpersonal skills and experience of providing administration and finance support within a busy team. You would be joining us at an exciting time for Bristol Music Trust during our major capital campaign to redevelop Colston Hall.
