Lisa May Thomas is looking for 3-4 dancers (male/female) for a period of research and development for her new work grassblades

Lisa has an open collaborative way of working and she is looking for exceptional artists to join her throughout this process.

Lisa May Thomas is seeking male and female professional dancers with strong contemporary dance /physical theatre background, confident in improvisation, contact improvisation, voice-work and strong performance skills.

There will be a process-led audition workshop (by invitation only) to give you the chance to meet me and my work and for me to meet you and your work on Sunday 29th July 2012 at Arnolfini Bristol.

Lisa will be leading this day in collaboration with Andy Pink (Composer) and Anthar Kharana (Columbian multi-instrumentalist).

The research and development will take place over 3 weeks: Dartington Space Devon (21st-25th October 2012), ICIA at the University of Bath (1-week in Jan 2013 tbc) and Arnolfini Bristol (1-week in Feb/March 2013 tbc).

You must be available for these 3 weeks and to present the work during Spring 2013.

This project has received Arts Council funding and this is a Paid Opportunity. Dancers may receive additional funding for travel, as appropriate.
