The Dance Futures Steering Group (DFSG) want to work with somebody passionate, knowledgeable and well-connected to help the dance sector realise its potential in the Bristol region. 

This exciting new role will work towards achieving the Dance Futures Vision, a statement of intent for the future of dance in Bristol that builds on years of practice, research and conversation developing dance in the city and beyond. 

It has a strong focus on advocacy, partnership development, enabling collective working, and increasing investment in the sector. 

This freelance role is for one year initially, January-December 2018, which we expect to be undertaken on a part time basis (approx. 0.4 FTE) but flexible around the successful candidate’s proposal. We hope and intend for this role to have a second year, dependent on funding applications. A decision will be made on year two by April 2018.

Fee: £13,000 for year one inclusive of all expenses.

The DFSG consists of Pavilion Dance South West, Theatre Bristol, Tobacco Factory Theatres, In Between Time, Circomedia, Trinity Community Arts, independent dance artist Laila Diallo and independent producer/One Dance UK SW Programmer Katy Noakes.
