The Tobacco Factory Theatre requires a Theatre Technician to assist the Technical Manager with our busy and diverse Theatres. The position will involve working with touring companies as well as assisting with in-house productions and on development work. The chosen person must have good experience of fit ups, get outs, show operation and technical maintenance. A good working knowledge of theatre electrics’ and sound systems is also required. This Position will involve working between the Tobacco Factory’s two theatre spaces; with a majority of hours in our smaller studio Theatre.

Start Date: Monday the 22nd April 2013 although we can be slightly flexible

Hours per week: 40

Contract: this is an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the period.

Salary: £15,000-£18,000 depending on experience
