Production Manager/Technical Manager for UK touring production of Words Worth with Yorke Dance Project.

Due to family circumstances, Yorke Dance Project urgently require a replacement Production?technical Manager for the new show Words Worth, premiereing at Bath ICIA on 20th September 2012. For full tour details see the company website:

The contract begins 31st August (first production meeting) and finishes on the 16th November 2012 (final performance Lilian Baylis theatre, Sadlers Wells).

The candidate will have a knowledge of a wide range of lighting and sound desks, focusing and plotting and rigging in some venues. The position will liaise with technical staff at all venues, organise all sets lighting and equipment to travel to and from venues, do the get in and outs, provide performance day schedules to the company.

The job also requires the postholder to prepare and send out technical specs to all the venues.

Previous experience with a dance company is an asset but not essential if other experience is varied and substantial.

A Driving License is required. As is a commitment to excellence in production, and, importantly, the ability to go to the pub with the company after the performance!

Fee £3000- plus travel accommodation and £15 per overnight stay.
