Kate McStraw is a Dorset-based theatre designer and costume supervisor. She has designed a number of local productions, including 'Road' at the Lighthouse, Poole, and is currently designing a section of the Weymouth Olympic Opening Celebrations for Diverse City. She also has aspirations in costume supervising, and has supervised local work including The Mary Shelley Festival, covering the life of Mary Shelley; and a university performance devised on the text of ‘Candide’ with over 40 18th Century costumes. Kate is interested in all things theatre and enjoys designing for both contemporary and historic texts, as well as devised work.
