Marie McCluskey MBE

As a freelance dance artist, I have worked with Katy in a variety of ways since moving to Bristol 2005. I have since then witnessed and admired her unfailing commitment to young people and to their development. Through the work that she has supported and championed, her resolve in utilising dance as a tool for provoking positive change is most clear. And so incredibly vital to us all.
Laïla Diallo, dance maker.

I have been aware of Katy’s work in dance in Bristol for many years  and have recently had the pleasure of working with Katy on a project with State of Emergency Productions. We have found her an energetic, inspiring and creative person, committed to developing a wide network and seeking new development opportunities for the success of the project. I would highly recommend her skills and vision for any future project.
Deborah Baddoo MBE, Director, State of Emergency

Katy has been and will continue to be an invaluable key member of the dance industry in Bristol and the South West. Her vast amount of experience of overseeing, managing and producing works within both the educational and community sectors caters as  a support system for local professional artists. Her vision and passion on raising the profile of dance has resonated with myself specifically as with numerous other artists and arts organisations throughout the region. Consequently, Katy has been a consistent partner working as a bridge between artists and organisations or projects in order to enhance and increase the possibilities of dance in the city and beyond. She is driven, positive and has huge amount of knowledge to offer individual artists with important areas such as funding applications, project management and networking. Bristol Dance would not be dance without Katy Noakes!!!
