Born in Exeter, Devon, I learnt to juggle age 14, and first performed age 15. After getting a taste for performance i completed a Btec in performing arts at Exeter College, where i took particular interest in dance and physical theatre, and continued to juggle outside the btec, creating routines and acts and my first street show.
I produced and compered my first run of cabaret/variety events as part of the Exeter College Arts Festival at the end of my Btec, which started me off in the direction i was interested in taking.
I continued to perform my street show at various events and festivals, taking every oppertunity to gain experience and learn the art of Street Theatre.
I furthered my training at Circomedia, specializing in Juggling and Physical Theatre, which opened my eyes to the world of contemporary circus and further into the world of physical theatre. I spent my year at Circomedia concentrating on Gentleman Juggling (juggling using props such as hats, cigars, bottles etc) which i continue to devote most of my time towards, and from which i have developed an act suitable for cabaret and variety.
Since leaving Ciromedia, i have been working as a professional with my acts and my street show.
Alongside my solo career i am also one half of new circus-theatre company PanGottic (www.pangottic.com), we recently recieved Arts Council Funding and have created our first show Full Twist, a combination of Juggling, Physical Theatre, Movement and Comedy.
Aside from working professionally i continue to develop new pieces of work, develop my street theatre and to explore the realms of circus with physical theatre both with PanGottic and as a Solo Artist.
I have also produced a number of cabarets within Bristol and continue to explore this avenue, with the possibility of hoping to establish myself as a variety/cabaret producer.
Interests aside from Performance and Circus Include Martial Arts, Climbing, Water Sports, Dance and Music.
