RSSBristol JAM – call for Bristol based improvisers
From the 16th to the 24th October, Bristol old Vic will throw open its doors for a maverick week of improvised performance in all forms (music, dance, theatre, comedy - you name it) by extraordinary artists from all over the land.
Bristol Do - Commissions Update
Huge thanks to everyone who submitted proposals in response to the Bristol Do call for commissions. We'll be doing our best to keep everyone up to date throughout the process, both in person and via the website.
Bristol Do - Call for Proposals
Theatre Bristol and Bristol City Council are working together to develop new performance work for the public realm. The Bristol Do is a major national platform for outdoor work and we are offering up to £6000 to commission one, two or three pieces of new work from Bristol artists to be shown at the Do at the end of September 2009.
UK venues to host French performing artists in six-month festival
UK venues including Sadler’s Wells, Leicester’s Curve and the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh are to take part in the first ever major season showcasing French performing arts companies in Britain.
