Stitch-Up-Studios

Stitch-Up Studios is a 24/7 sewing workshop space and a hub for practitioners in the heart of Bristol. Designers and makers can benefit from shared resources and opportunities to work creatively together and learn from each other.

Resident members can benefit from exclusive access to the shared use equipment and resources during members only time for just £48 per month. Other benefits include being part of the artist community that  is The Island, with space on the website and opportunities to take part in events and exhibitions. We are always looking for people passionate about sewing and making that are happy to get involved with the shared element of this studio to join our diverse team.

We also host regular sewing nights allowing people who already have a basic knowledge of sewing to access the studio and facilities to work on their own creative projects. You will work alongside other sewing enthusiasts under the supervision of an experienced resident member. Sewing nights happen every Wednesday 6-9pm for just £9 per session but booking in advance is essential. For more details or to book please email stitch-up@theislandbristol.com

You can also private hire Stitch-Up Studios for your related workshop or class on weekday evenings and weekend days. Private hire fees are £12 per hour and the capacity is 5-7 attendees. Please send us an email to request a viewing or for more details.
