Live Dates: 23/4/17
Last January, Bristol Theatre gave me a bursary to continue developing my dance as a independent practitioner. I used the opportunity to take dances classes influence by Orixas movement and Candomblé (Afro-BrazilIan religion) in Brazil.
The aim of this workshop is to share what I learnt in these classes and the relevant contacts of international teachers.
The workshop will include sharing verbally and via movement. There will also be an opportunity for people to try on some movements, for those wishing to move.
Open to dancers/movers of all levels and those interested in Afro-BrazilIan rhythm/culture and dance in general.
Date: Sunday 23rd April at 1pm
Fee: £5-10 suggested donation (to cover costs and drummers fees). But if you cant afford that, just turn up.
