Hello, I'm Holly Stoppit. I'm looking for expressions of interest for a very exciting project.

I'm a Bristol based director / facilitator and teacher, specialising in clown, improvisation and devised physical theatre.

I am also a Dramatherapist in training.

I am currently designing my MA dissertation. I'm interested in looking at the therapeutic benefits for adults undergoing clown training. I'm looking for some guinea pigs to potentially partake in my research.

Would your theatre company be interested in receiving weekly clownotherapy sessions either in the autumn or the spring? They will acquire new performance skills whilst also having an opportunity to explore their relationship with issues such as self-awareness, risk taking (safely!), vulnerability, giving and receiving support, fostering a more positive attitude and exploring ways of playfully connecting with the human race. Oh and they will also laugh until it hurts.

For me to offer this, your company needs to be set-up legally and I will need a mentor within your organisation who is not part of the group but knows the group members.
