Costume designer wanted for music video.
Premise: During an advertising shoot for bubble gum, a model can’t stop putting gum into her mouth. The music video is a parody of the promo pop video and a deliberate blend of satire and cliche of the advertising world. Too much of anything is a bad thing.
Style: We’re shooting on super 16mm to give the footage a slight vintage look with the production design harking back to the advertisements and Vogue magazine front covers of the 1980s.
Unfortunately the role is unpaid but we have about £50 budget for costumes for one model. We only need costumes from the waist up due the framing. All materials and travel expenses will be covered and there will lots of delicious food and drink on set for you to gorge on.Shoot Dates: Sunday 5th March,10am to 4pm.
Location:Bristol, Spike Island Art Space.
About Me: I’m a director and screenwriter based in Bristol. My portfolio includes short films and music videos. Jewels, my last short film, recently won Best Comedy Short Film at Winchester Short Film Festival. Other films festivals I have been selected for include: Leeds, Aesthetica, and the London Short Film Festival.
