Live Dates: 16th June 2012
CALLING LOCAL PEOPLE…. to be part of a unique performance coming to the streets of Bristol as part of You And Your Work 9, at the Arnolfini, on Saturday 16th June.
Glasgow based performance maker Rosana Cade is looking for participants of different ages, races, genders, sexualities, cultures, and social backgrounds to take part in her project exploring and celebrating diversity.
Her piece 'Walking:Holding' involves one person at a time going on a walk through the city holding hands with a range of local people. As a participant you will be required to walk holding hands with each audience member for part of the route.
The idea of this project is to look at different lifestyles and identities within a city from a personal perspective, and at the same time is a broader experiment into what can be learnt when two strangers share an intimate moment.
There is no performance experience required and you will need to be free from 11am – 9pm on Saturday 16th June.
