Youth Cinema Foundation - Acting for Camera Masterclass 2017-2018

Youth Cinema - Youth Cinema Foundation

Cost: £88.00 pcm (Bursaries are available)

Live Dates: September 2017 – August 2018.

BRISTOL 2017-2018

The Youth Cinema Foundation is a unique year-long master class.

It involves one evening a week (during term-time) dedicated to learning to act for the screen. Final work is screened at The Watershed Cinema.

You need to be aged between 14 and 26 years old to apply.

Beginning in September 2017, students study professional American performance techniques with an award-winning lm director and build up to the creation of cinema work, to showcase their acting talent, on the big screen. The work studied is based on the techniques of Sanford Meisner and incorporates learning to perform with digital cinema cameras and sound equipment.

This course can produce extraordinary results and can be life changing for participants. We believe this is one of the best and most unique acting courses in the world.

Places are very limited and require an informal interview with Jack Price.

Email us@youthcinema.co.uk and we can set up a date.

The course can be used as part of a DofE award. (14-18 year olds)

All tutors are DBS enhanced checked.

The performers have all progressed immensely and I feel my lmmaking abilities have risen no end, due to not only being completely immersed, but also due to Jack who is an incredible lmmaker, visionary and mentor. Anyone looking to develop their skills I cannot recommend this course enough. This is something I will carry through my career.

Matt England
Trainee Feature Film Camera Assistant

Get yourself onto this course. Jack's teaching drills deep into the heart of performance, connection on stage, and gives clear parameters and guidance to create vulnerable and truthful performances... Such important learning for me. Can't wait to start applying it and watch it grow from here.
