The company style is an exhilarating collision of anarchic verbal slapstick, visual surprises, absurd scenarios and sublimely ridiculous comic performances. Peepolykus has produced six devised touring theatre shows to date: Let the Donkey Go (1996/97), I am a Coffee (1997/98), Horses for Courses (1998/99), Goose Nights (2000), Mindbender (2003) and All in The Timing (2004/5). Past productions also include a commission for The Royal National Theatre – The Midsummer Rude Mechanicals (1998); Blast! (2002) – a commissioned, collaborative large scale outdoor show with The World Famous and a production of Ionesco’s Rhinoceros (2002). In 2007 the company's version of the Hound of the Baskervilles transferred to the West End after a sell out tour and in 2009 an American theatre company, Shakespeare & Co in Massachusetts, performed our adaptation to rave reviews. In 2009 the company also produced and toured Spyski, written by John and Steve Canny. The company are currently in rehearsals for No Wise Men, a christmas show commissioned by Liverpool Playhouse and again written by John and Steve.
