The Indie Ballet Company is a contemporary based dance company and school. We aim to bring dance to the masses with our own brand of contemporary dance, taking inspiration from every available opportunity. We will also run both a School and Academy to provide young people to learn, interact and create all kinds of dance works working in all range of abilities.

Our main aim is very simple, we would like to provide a fun, inspirational and valuable venue for all things dance to the local area.

The School - This will be aimed at dancers aged between 3 and 15, it will offer many different types of dance however they will form part of one integrated class per age group. 

The Academy - This will be aimed at 16-18 year olds who are looking to push their dancing further by attending advances classes as well as being involved in other aspects, such as teaching. The aim of the academy is to not just teach good dancing technique but to teach it’s students about responsibility and help them grow at this key stage of their lives. 

The Company - This will be for 18+ students who are ready to take a push at professional dancing. This will be a part time run theatre company looking to develop new dancers and new choreographers for the future. Initially no formal audition process will take part but this may be part of the future depending on interest in The Company. The Company will also take part in lots of community and charitable events to promote dance in a positive way.
