I have always been interested in dance since a young age and started ballet, modern, tap and ballroom classes at the age of 3. I went to classes for two years at the Tina Counsell school of dance before leaving for a year. I then returned for another year before leaving once again.
At the age of 7 I went to the Angela Robbins school of dance and remained their until the age of 12. I quit afterwards and stopped dancing at schools, instead doing it in my spare time. Also at this age I began cheerleading with the Somerset Shadows who I stayed with until the age of 16 before I left.
I then joined the Weston Supernovas however I only remained their for a few months, I hope to get back into cheerleading by auditioning for the Crusaders (Bristol based team) in February of 2012.
At the moment I study the Level 3 BND (British National Diploma) in Dance at Filton College in Bristol. I am in advanced classes for Tap, Jazz and Contemporary and intermediate for Ballet. I am strongest in Jazz and Contemporary and enjoy choreographing pieces as well. I work well as a solo performer and a group performer. I also have no issues being lifted, as I have flown before with cheerleading which involves being lifted quite high in the air.
After leaving college I hope to apply to these dance universitys;
I really hope to go into choreography work after university before opening my own school and classes (I would also eventually want to begin my own cheerleading squad). I am looking for as much expirience as I can get in dance and acting.
