The next meeting of the Bristol and West General Branch of Equity will also be our Annual General Meeting.

The meeting will take place on Monday 16th January 2012 at 7:30pm. The venue will be the Bristol Youth Hostel, 14 Narrow Quay, Bristol, BS1 4QA.

The Bristol Youth Hostel can be found a few doors down from the Arnolfini Arts Centre on the Harbourside of Bristol city centre. We are please to welcome three guest speakers to this meeting:

Ian Bayes and John Barclay from Equity HQ will discuss our branch’s regional casting campaign and what Equity is doing about it and also the issues surrounding the new production base in Cardiff

Mary Lane, the West of England Variety Branch Secretary and member of the South West Area Committee will tell us all about the area committee and discuss what they do.

Please attend this meeting if you can – we are always happy to see new faces - please come along to meet your fellow union members, learn how Equity operates at a local level, and how you can get involved.
