This November Ausform Performance Platform will be presenting the newly extended version of Jack's show Rain:

“I realised then that the boys we were are carried forever within us, operating from behind our skull like the tiny alien in Men In Black. And though we may deny their existence, over us they will forever reign."

In the bosom of Albion, there is a boy followed by his own tiny personal cloud. As he fights with growing up and travels from the soggy fields of Devon to the tattered spires of London, Cloudy lingers over him, capturing his memories and telling him stories of the coming flood. A new quasi-autobiographical piece of work using hip hop poetics to explore three great British institutions: clinical depression, nostalgia and talking about the weather.
