“The Lost Art Project”. This project is in its very early stages but this  project will kick off with a new show RARE AND UNSEEN opening at the Parlour Showrooms in Bristol on Friday the 20th July.
The Show will consist of reminders, traces of works of art that no longer exist in their original form.  This project is hoping to stimulate debate about the possible heritage of lost art, and  whether this adds value to the original object.
During this exhibition week we The Lost Art Project will also be running a series of fun and quirky events, that will in turn lead to more events later in the year. The Following events will be taking place in the Parolour showrooms:
Saturday 21st:
The City of Lost Art:   an ongoing activity where the people from Bristol will be commisioned  to create miniature public arts out of clay.  Break-away: Release yourself from your art....How would you destroy your art? Erased: Inspired By R. Rauschenberg rubbed out drawing, come and join us in a new way of using pencils and rubbers
Sunday 22nd: Eat Your Art Out: Come for Tea and Cake and more! City of Lost Art and the Break Out are ongoing throughout the weekend.
There will also be fims and a final ceremony on Wednesday
