Zuleika Gregory
I decamped from the Forest of Dean to study performing arts and took a degree in Theatre at Dartington. I have performed with the Dave Fish and Beautiful Creatures Theatre Companies, work as a costume designer and with the artist run co-op The Cube Cinema in Bristol where I co-produces Zuleika Ziegfeld’s Cabaret of Curiosities.
I trained in aerial at Circus Maniacs, leading to a collaboration with Beautiful Creatures and tours in tented circus.
I perform on corde lisse, spanish web and aerial hoop and am trained on silks and trapeze.
I have taught at circus workshops, with Circus Maniacs and at the Edinburgh Aerial and Acro convention.
I am interested in working with circus in physical theatre and continuing investigations into physical interaction with scenography.

Luck Pot Process:
I've recently been investigating and developing methods and processes of generating creative ideas and would like to bring this into the performance field by setting various individuals or groups a 'mission' for future Ausforms. The idea is to spark inspiration without directly setting tasks and to observe how the missions are interpreted and transformed into a performance.
You will be plucking out a subject to observe and methods of seeking out and documenting out that subject and create a short performance or video from that, in practice it is open to interpretation.
It will be possible to work as individuals or groups. I would suggest that if you already work as a group you stay in those groups, only to make it easier to organise rehearsal times, but if that doesn't seem like a problem then some cross-collaboration could be nice.

- The Cube Microplex

The Cube is a Microplex Cinema and venue in central Bristol. It is a programmed space but occasionally has space to hire. This is an alternative venue that often puts on events that cannot happen elsewhere in Bristol.
Inquiries from anything that is working within what the Cube is (a volunteer run cinema / arts space) are particularly welcome. This space has been used for cinema, live-music, cabaret, performance art and private events. It is home to the Cabaret of Curiosities and Ausform Performance Platform.
