Doing Things Differently

dfdDoing Things Differently will take place in Bristol this September with a whole host of event’s and workshops. Doing Things Differently is a new event and is about celebrating, learning and talking about equality in the arts.


There will be a range of companies performing including Weighting from the UK’s integrated professional circus company, Extraordinary Bodies. Other companies include Hijinx Theatre in association with Blind SummitTwoCan Inclusive Theatre CompanyYolanda MercyMatthew Gurney and Adam Bassett and Caroline Bowditch


As well as performance, there’s also a jam packed programme of workshops and discussions. Forum Theatre with Cardboard Citizens, Waving Goodbye to Victorian Dad curated by Bristol Culture, Learn how to chat in BSL, How to engage disabled volunteers and more. 


State of the Nation takes place on Friday 16th September and combines discussion, performances and debate about where we are now, post referendum.
