The Youth Cinema Foundation is a unique year-long master class. The course involves one evening a week (during term-time) dedicated to learning to act for the screen with one of the UK’s leading acting teachers. You need to be aged between 15 – 26 years old to apply.
Beginning in September 2018, students study professional performance techniques with an award-winning film director and teacher, they build up to the creation of cinema work, to showcase their acting talent, on the big screen. The work studied is based on the techniques of Sanford Meisner and incorporates learning to perform with digital cinema cameras and sound equipment.
This course produces extraordinary results and can be life changing for participants. We believe this is one of the best and most unique acting courses in the world.
Places are very limited and require an informal interview with Jack Price.

Jack Price is an award-winning film director and teacher. Jack is currently teaching acting with RADA, Italia Conti, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has also taught with the BFI Film Academy and The Actors Centre. Jack has made films with the BBC and Channel Four, Ridley Scott, Idris Elba and Kathleen Kennedy. His recent work has been seen across the US and UK cinema screens.
Graduates of the program are acting in feature films, television and theatre. They have gained agents, places at Drama schools and Universities and become members of The National Youth Theatre.
