Afro-Cuban Orishas: a series of dance workshops led by renown Cuban dancer, choreographer and teacher Alain Hernandez.

Accompanied by live percussion and singing from Jason Gaines & friends.

After a very successful first workshop in January, we are excited to invite you to the second event of the series.

* Orishas movement * : The Orishas are the deities of the Afro- cuban religion known as santeria. Each Orisha has its own particular characteristics, personality and domain, all expressed in a beautiful and powerful dance language. This workshop is inspired by these roots. We will explore some of the Orishas qualities, movements and rhythms, accompanied by live drumming.
