Presented by Slapstick Festival
At their peak in the 70s and 80s Syd Little and Eddie Large were among the UK’s most popular entertainers, with their long-running Little & Large television shows regularly attracting more than 15 million viewers. But the act faltered with the advent of ‘alternative’ comedy and disbanded after Eddie developed such severe heart illness he needed a transplant.
Now they are reuniting on stage for the first time in decades to share their story and still lively sense of fun and humour with cultural commentator Matthew Sweet.
This event is one of more than 30 being staged as part of Bristol’s 15th annual Slapstick festival of silent and vintage screen comedy
