The Broken Puppet 2 Symposium on Puppetry and Disability Performance will take place on 14-15 April 2018 at Bath Spa University, UK. It will bring together artists, scholars, and members of the public to reflect on, analyse, and further develop work in the field of puppetry and disability performance, exploring the ways puppetry and disability intersect to produce innovative art forms.
We invite practitioners, academics and practice-based researchers to propose workshops, presentations of practice-based research, labs to explore artistic practices, papers and provocations. The Call for Proposals is up at the symposium website: www.brokenpuppetsymposium.com. Deadline for submissions is 19 January 2018.
