Contact: Holly McCulloch (Email)

Facilitated by Holly McCulloch

*** Limited spaces ***
This is a guided embodied workshop including movement, story, and play with a focus on the theme of courage and what it means to show up and allow yourself to be seen in today’s modern world. Towards the end there will also be time for personal reflection and/or shared reflection in pairs/small groups.
All welcome – especially for anyone wanting to make a change in the New Year or take a first brave step in some aspect of their lives. Or simply for those who want to feel more connected with their inner values and intentions and/or have an interest in self-development.

The 2.5 hours Embodying Courage workshop will roughly follow the schedule outlined below:

10:15 arrival and settling into the space
10.30 welcome, opening circle, setting intentions
11.00 warming up the body and imagination
11.30 guided movement and story based workshop
12.30 reflection time
12.45 grounding, closing circle
13.00 finish, opportunity for chats in the café

The workshop will be run by a qualified drama and movement therapist and facilitator. This is a one-off introductory offer to test out facilitation style, themes, and ideas with the aim to further develop and produce a series of therapeutic arts workshops. There will be opportunity for any constructive feedback for the facilitator at the end of the workshop, which will be warmly received and appreciated.
