A one day intensive workshop to learn the basics of bringing objects to life, with puppeteer and puppetry director Tessa Bide. Tessa has been puppeteering for 10 years and has worked all over the world. She has worked and trained with various companies inc. Blind Summit (Olympic Opening Ceremony 2012) and Mervyn Millar – Puppetry Director of War Horse. This workshop will cover the basics of object manipulation, bunraku puppetry and lip syncing. It will build confidence to audition for puppetry jobs for physical performers and actors.
