Parent’s Basement feat. Up The Antics & Jessie Johnson

Contact: Kitchen Rules Theatre ()

Parent’s Basement is Bristol’s home for state-side style longform improv, featuring some of the funniest improvisers the South West has to offer. Our house team perform sketches directly inspired from stories told by a guest monologist, then in the second half, a fully improvised theatrical comedy will be performed by a special guest troupe.

This month we got stand-up comedian Jessie Johnson helping us kick off the show with the very highest quality of “ha-ha”. Our house team WAITING FOR BECKY will then get a monologue and produce the finest of improvised sketches this side of the Mississippi.

After the break we have headliners; our close friend Up The Antics are joining us! Perennial Edinburgh Fringe favourites and comedy triple threats we’re #blessed to have them close the night out by performing The Slacker!

“A troupe that can be relied on to deliver laughs every minute… Up the Antics deliver brilliantly witty and wide-ranging comedic gold.” – Rated **** by EdFringe Review
