Facilitated by Laura Drane
Here’s an invitation to Bristol’s version of Producers Place, starting monthly from Wed 30 May.
This has been running in Cardiff for a good while and it’s proved super valuable – a once a monthly opportunity for (mainly independent) producers to co-work informally together.
It usually rotates to different spaces to help connect people around a range of hubs, buildings and companies.
We usually work 9.30am – 5pm on a completely flexible model (drop in or stay all day) and in Bristol we will be doing this on the last Wednesday of the month (the Cardiff one is always first Weds of the month – come and join us there too if you like?).
To unite the two chapters in Bristol and Cardiff, we will use the twitter hashtag #producersplace.
Thanks to those who’ve offered to host and now pleased to say that our first three months in Bristol are confirmed as:
30 May – Arnolfini (Front Room)
27 June – Bristol Old Vic (16 King St meeting room)
25 July – Trinity (Graffiti room)
Hosts commit to:
– making a suitable space available
– open access wifi, with access to sockets
(Some might provide hot drinks/ water, or access to a kitchen space, or people can bring their own food and drinks.)
There won’t be a meeting in August but we’ll expect to confirm dates for Sept/ Oct/ Nov sometime in the coming weeks if it goes well.
A big thanks to Katie Cooper and Luke Emery for their input and support with this.
