Presented by Trinity Centre
A 21st century Austerity Britain immersive show inspired by the 1920s Harlem Renaissance Rent Parties.
Being broke never looked so fierce!
Darren Pritchard Dance invite you, the audience, to pay to come to a party in ‘our flat’, so that they can make this month’s rent, and entertain you with all their artist friends – dancers, singers, musicians, poets – who will create a kaleidoscopic picture of what it means today to be young, gifted, and black – and poor, and gay.
Once the performances stop, the party doesn’t so stick around for the after show party.
Pre-show Dance Workshop
Come along at 7:00pm and learn the Rent Party Hustle in a free workshop before the show.
