The Actors Workshop is delighted to welcome Angie Belcher back for another masterclass on Stand Up.
Learn how to write your first 5-minute set using comedic devices used by professional stand-ups. Run by award-winning stand up, writer and actor Angie Belcher, this masterclass focuses on understanding your comedic persona, using writing techniques to get the most laughs and writing material about your story. All participants get to try out their material and receive personal feedback on their set. This workshop will build on your stage presence to create a comedic version of yourself. The exercises, games and theory will enable you to write your first 5 minutes of stand-up comedy and learn how to perform your material like a professional.
