Every other Wednesday: 21st Nov, 5th Dec, 19th Dec (more dates in new year)
Weston Museum

This new fortnightly workshop offers an opportunity for dancers of all experience levels (from total beginners to professionals) to move together. Create and explore inclusive and uplifting dance work with choreographer Clare Reynolds. These sessions aren’t about technique; Clare will lead the group through warm-ups, exercises and improvisations, all accompanied by live music.

All TERRESTRIAL workshops are free to attend – you’re welcome to donate at the end if you enjoy the experience. Sessions are drop-in, no commitment, just come along when you can. But to help us plan numbers, please sign up in advance if possible – follow the links from our website to Eventbrite, and click on ‘Register’ (and make sure your inbox receives messages from Eventbrite, as they sometimes end up in junkmail).

Clare Reynolds is Co-Director of Restoke, a brilliant company who create celebrated performances in surprising spaces – from Working Men’s Clubs to abandoned swimming pools. She trained at Trinity-Laban and has danced and taught around the UK.

Clare is working with TERRESTRIAL in Weston-super-Mare over the next year to offer these public dance workshops, as well as working with local charity Addaction to explore movement ideas with people in recovery from problems relating to drugs and alcohol.
