Theatre Bristol’s Open Office: Theatre Burnout – Don’t Let the Bastards Get You Down

Listed by: Theatre Bristol
Contact: Ella Best (Email)

Facilitated by Graham Johnson and Theatre Bristol

Join Theatre Bristol and invited guest Graham Johnson, for a special open office event at the Tobacco Factory.  Together Theatre Bristol and Graham will be leading this session focusing on burnout and well-being.

Graham is a Bristol based producer working in artist development. Currently working a Producer for Closer Each Day Company and Assistant Producer with both Trigger and Kid Carpet.

In his own words he says, “Self care needs to be self defined, pastoral care can’t be seen as optional, and exercises need to be practical – the best way to work healthier as a practising artist is to make your business work for you, rather than the other way round. A lot of these ideas require a culture where more and more people are doing this, so the best way for me to encourage it is to work with more people.”

Open Office starts at 11.00am and finishes at 12.30pm
Tea and biscuits will be provided
No need to book, just show up.
