Bristol Academy of Drama takes a fun-filled journey through the wacky world of Edward Lear, in this new collection of short plays. Adapted for the stage by Beatrice Vincent, Utter Nonsense presents the works of Edward Lear as you’ve never seen them before: journey with the Jumblies in their sieve, follow the Dong and his Luminous Nose on his quest for lost love, and join the menagerie atop the Quangle Wangle’s fantastical Hat. Vibrant and engaging, Utter Nonsense is a magical show for the whole family to enjoy.
“The shows are brilliantly orchestrated and wonderful”
“The end of term performances are professional and entertaining and my daughter has relished every moment. It’s truly a unique academy.”
This is a youth production performed by the students of BAD’s age 7-11 Saturday morning classes.
