Posting Job Vacancies

Please note that positions posted in the jobs sections of this website must be genuine paid posts. This is due to unpaid opportunities contravening minimum wage regulations.

Adverts for genuine work experience, voluntary roles, profit share or unpaid internships can be posted in the opportunities section of the site. Theatre Bristol recognises that there is great value in people having access to proper work experience, where it is offered and arranged properly and is a mutually beneficial arrangement, but that this should never be used as a way of attempting to circumvent the minimum wage regulations.

What we require of users who add content to the site:

www.theatrebristol.net relies on it’s registered users to add almost all of its content. We fully recognise the huge contribution this makes to the success of the site and we seek to allow our users as much freedom as we can in the content they can add to the site.

However in order to maintain a high standard information and relevance of content we do make some requirements of our users when they add content.

What information do we collect and how do we use it?

Should you choose to make a Person or Organisation profile, the information included is published publicly on this site. While we take technical steps to prevent automated harvesting email addresses we cannot guard against manual collection by third parties of the data published on this site.

This data may be processed by Theatre Bristol for the purposes of enabling such publication and administering our website and services. You consent to this when you agree to our Terms & Conditions when submitting your listings. You can delete any of this data at any time via the relevant My Account page. You should be aware of the fact that publishing personally identifying information on the internet potentially puts you at risk of identity theft and weight these concerns in mind when adding content to the site. Deleting your information

Subscribing to our newsletter

When you choose to sign up for our newsletter:

  • you agree the collection, storage and processing of this personal information by us, using MailChimp
  • your personal information will be used to send you our newsletter and on occasion important information relating to Theatre Bristol or your account

Occasionally we run competitions on www.theatrebristol.net. We will usually ask you to submit your email address so that we can contact you if you win. If delivering your prize requires it we may share that email address with another organisation, for example if you have won theatre tickets we will normally pass your details to the box office of the Theatre so you can collect your prize.

Job applications

Artist Support Privacy Policy

Our Artist Support service is bespoke to the artist or producer we are working with. It may take the form of meetings, Open Offices, phone calls or email correspondence.

We will never share your email address with a third parties and we will hold it securely. If you engage with our artist support service we will ask you if you consent to us keeping a record of your email address so we can keep in touch with you in future. This will only be with correspondence relevant to you, including the opportunity to take part in an Artist Support Engagement survey. These surveys are vital to us being able to monitor the impact of our artist support service, keep it free, and make it the best it can be.

Our Projects include our performance Platforms, Action Learning, TB Agents, Open Spaces and other events and projects we take part in. This will only be with correspondence relevant to the project, including the opportunity to take part in a Theatre Bristol Engagement survey after the project is completed.
