Salary: GBP £50 per meeting
Application Deadline: April 2, 2020 9:00 am
Company: Bristol Dance Futures
Bristol Dance Futures is looking for two artists who are passionate about dance in Bristol to join its steering group and inform its vision and priorities.
Bristol Dance Futures is a consortium of organisations and independents committed to making Bristol a place where every body can move and be moved by dance.
We recently received Arts Council England funding for ‘Moving Bristol’, an ambitious two-year programme to promote knowledge exchange through a series of artist residencies and other initiatives across the city.
Established with support from Pavilion Dance South West and Bristol City Council, the consortium currently consists of individuals from organisations and independents, including one artist representative. We now want to double this, to ensure artists’ voices are represented and to widen representation beyond contemporary performance. We hope this group will change and evolve over time, starting with new artist representatives who reflect the breadth of Bristol’s practice.
So if you are ambitious for the future of dance in Bristol, and want to use your experience, networks and perspective to help it reach its potential, please think about applying. Equally, if you know someone who should apply, who may not see this call out, please do pass this on.
Fee: £50 per meeting.
We want to encourage a broad representation of artists and dance forms. We can provide access support costs for artists identifying as Deaf/Disabled. We can arrange this post-selection or if you prefer, you can provide information on your access needs with your application. If you would like a large print version of the Artists Call Out Pack please contact us via the email address below.
Please note: the application pack was updated on 6 March 2020 to include information about access support.
Deadline Thursday 2 April 9am.
