FESTIVAL.ORG (Greenwich+Docklands International Festival) is looking for a dynamic Engagement and Access Producer to join our team. You will lead a programme of exciting work with communities through free, ambitious and ground-breaking outdoor performing arts.
The organisation is known for its commitment to cultural place-making and community cohesion, developing and delivering participatory projects, and is a key agent for change in terms of engaging with culturally diverse and D/deaf and disabled artists.
The Engagement and Access Producer will be responsible for three strands:
- Engagement and Participation activities across all FESTIVAL.ORG projects, including project management, administration and coordination of engagement activity and local relationship building. We have a strong engagement programme in Woolwich (including our Global Streets programme), Bow and Thamesmead.
- Management and implementation of Access provision across the organization, particularly at GDIF but also in respect of a specific project on behalf of Without Walls.
- Overseeing the volunteer programme for GDIF, including facilitation of safeguarding training sessions for both volunteers and staff, and line management of relevant freelance staff.
This is a full time, fixed term post for eight months January – August 2020, with possible opportunity to extend.
Salary: £30,000 pro rata
